Galatas has a great advantageous position as it is close to the city centre and the Venetian harbour as well, and also near to the area’s most popular sandy beaches.  The closest sandy beach (Kalamaki) is in a walking distance of 1 km from the villa.

A number of convenient shops and services (mini market, pharmacy, tavernas, bus station) are available in the neighborhood at a walking distance of less than 5 min.

The location is also fantastic if you want to explore the island, as it is within a few minutes drive from the national road which leads you to the famous beaches of Elafonisi, Balos and Falassarna as well as the Samaria Gorge.
